I established the gynaecology clinic in 1993 in Rogaška Slatina, primarily to serve the entire Šmarje pri Jelšah municipality. Since 1997, I have been a private concessionaire. When I was setting up the clinic, I wanted a space where women would feel comfortable. In addition to flawless healthcare, I wanted them to find a trusted confidant who understands them and is always ready to listen.

The gynaecology clinic was founded in 1993 within the Health Centre Šmarje pri Jelšah. Since 1997, it has been operating under a private concession. It was founded with an idea to offer a complete gynaecological and obstetrical programme which in those days meant a cooperation with a secondary centre which was the General Hospital in Ptuj. Since 2009, Dr. Franić used to operate and treate his patients which involved working outside the clinic.
An individual approach to each patient was always his principle which is unfortunately not encouraged enough by the flat rate approach of the current health legislation. In his clinic, Dr. Franić always insists on a sincere and supportive dialogue with a patient since only true empathy and mutual trust guarantee success in the treatment.

We all share a common dislike for waiting and a desire for prompt, high-quality service. However, this also requires a certain level of patience and discipline from us all. Let’s take a look at some rules that we would greatly appreciate if you follow in our clinic: Please arrive for your appointment at the scheduled time or a few minutes early. Prepare your health insurance card or any necessary documents before the examination. Write down any questions for the doctor that you might forget. Silence or turn off your mobile phone. Remember the date of your last menstrual period. For your hygiene and safety, come for the examination in a skirt or bring one with you. In our examination preparation rooms, you have disposable slippers available. This way, you will ensure a fast and smooth process for yourself and others. Be patient if the examination before yours is running late. You never know when you might need more attention yourself.
If the scheduled examination time doesn’t suit you, please reschedule or let us know if you won’t make it. This will allow someone else to use your appointment slot. By doing this, you can also help reduce the waiting time!”
